BBA Trade continues to support Turkish art collectors by managing complex, cross-border shipments of valuable art pieces with precision and care. In this recent operation, BBA was once again entrusted by one of its most valued clients to oversee the shipment and import of multiple contemporary artworks purchased from several renowned galleries and auction houses across the United States.
The paintings and art objects were expertly consolidated by BBA’s long-standing partner, Go Move USA. BBA coordinated all stakeholders—including galleries, auction houses, the client, and freight partners—to ensure a seamless “nail-to-nail” operation. Two containers, one 40’HC and one 20’DC, were loaded together to optimize freight efficiency and safeguard each unique piece.
Transported safely from the USA to Istanbul via Hapag-Lloyd, the shipment arrived without issue. Import formalities were successfully handled by TGM Gümrükleme, after which both truckloads were delivered to the client’s compound by a specialized team. Every piece arrived in perfect condition, on schedule, and was placed with the utmost care.
